Push the tube in, a ring of stainless teeth inside the collet bites onto it, and an O-ring further down seals against the outside of the tube. To get it back out you press the blue collar down and pull. No tools, and you can do it as many times as you like, which is the whole point when you are still moving things around on a build. The thread end is a tapered BSPT male, so it pulls tight as it winds in. It is an ordinary pneumatic one touch fitting, so it is equally at home on a compressor line, a small air cylinder, or routing PTFE tube on a Bowden printer.
