Wiring Reference
Inside the plug housing are 3 screw terminals labelled or colour-coded:
L (Live): Brown wire (NZ/AU/EU standard) — connect to Active/Live conductor
N (Neutral): Blue wire — connect to Neutral conductor
E (Earth): Green/Yellow wire — connect to Earth/Ground conductor
Strip approximately 8–10mm of insulation from each wire. Insert into the corresponding terminal and tighten the screw firmly. Ensure no bare wire is exposed outside the terminal. Refit the strain relief clamp before closing the housing.
All mains wiring must be carried out by a registered electrician in accordance with NZ wiring standards.

What's the difference between C13 and C14?
C14 is the male plug (the one with pins, this product) — it connects to a power cable. C13 is the female socket (the one with holes) — it's what you plug the C14 into. Standard computer power cables use a C13 socket that plugs into the C14 inlet on the PSU.
Is this RCM certified for the NZ market?
No — this connector is CE certified to IEC 60884-1:2022 and IEC 60884-2-5:2017 but is not RCM certified for the NZ market. For commercial or compliant installations, verify suitability with a registered electrician.
