At NZN Electronics, we want you to feel confident in every purchase. If something isn't right, we're here to help.

1. 30-Day Return Policy

We offer a 30-day return policy for defective, damaged, or incorrectly sent items. Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method within 10 business days.

2. Return Eligibility

We only accept returns for defective or damaged items. Change-of-mind returns are not accepted.

To qualify for a return:

  • Condition: Items must be unsoldered and in the same condition as received
  • Packaging: Must be returned in original anti-static or protective packaging
  • Proof of Purchase: A valid receipt or order confirmation is required

3. How to Request a Return

Once your return is approved, we will provide instructions for sending your item back. Please note: Returns sent without prior approval will not be accepted.

4. Return Shipping Costs

Return shipping is free of charge for all approved returns (faulty, damaged, or incorrect items).

5. Damaged, Faulty, or Incorrect Items

Please inspect your order upon arrival. If your item is defective, damaged, or incorrect, contact us as soon as possible so we can resolve the issue quickly.

6. Non-Returnable Items

The following cannot be returned:

  • Opened or used consumables (e.g. solder, thermal paste, adhesives)
  • Custom or special-order items
  • Hazardous materials (e.g. flammable liquids or gases)
  • Sale items and gift cards (except where faulty — see Section 9)

7. Exchanges

We do not offer direct exchanges. The fastest way to get a different item is to return your original purchase and place a new order once your return is approved.

8. Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you of the outcome.

If approved:

  • Refunds are issued to your original payment method
  • Processing time: within 10 business days

Please allow additional time for your bank or payment provider to process the refund.

9. Consumer Rights (New Zealand)

This policy is in addition to your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (NZ), which may entitle you to a repair, replacement, or refund for faulty goods regardless of whether an item is on sale or discounted.
