This waterproof buck converter steps a 12V or 24V supply down to a stable, regulated 5V. The whole board is potted inside a sealed IP67 aluminium housing, so it keeps a clean 5V rail running in damp, dusty and high-vibration spots where a bare module wouldn't last - vehicles, boats, solar setups and 3D-printer enclosures. It delivers a continuous 3A (15W) - enough to run a Raspberry Pi with a display and a webcam from the one module.

Wiring & getting started
- Identify the leads
Red is input positive, black is input ground (the input pair). Yellow is the 5V output positive, with a black output ground.
- Connect the input
Red and black input leads to your 12-24V supply. Install per the label and mind polarity - the input is not reverse-polarity protected.
- Connect the output
Yellow and black output leads to your 5V device. Input and output share a common ground inside the module.
- Seal the joints
Heatshrink or use sealed crimps so the connections are as weatherproof as the converter, keeping the IP67 rating end-to-end.
Note: Install per the label - the input is not reverse-polarity protected. Running continuously near the rated 3A shortens lifespan, so leave headroom and derate above 40°C ambient. Body 44 × 25 × 20.5mm, mounting holes 4mm diameter at 51mm spacing.
