Clearance - damaged case, 1 only. The clear storage case on this kit is damaged: the lid edge beside the hinge is stress-whitened and crazed, and one corner is slightly pushed in. The photos show this exact kit. The 600 resistors inside are new and undamaged, still on their labelled paper tapes, and carry our normal 12 month warranty. If you would rather have a perfect case, the standard 600pc resistor kit is $11.99.

A 600-piece 1/4W metal film resistor kit with 30 values from 10Ω to 1M, 20 of each, at ±1% tolerance. Every value sits on its own paper tape with the value printed on it, and the printed card in the lid lists the full range, so you can find the one you need quickly. Ideal bench stock for Arduino, ESP32 and general electronics work.

What's in the box

600×
Metal film resistors, 30 values on labelled tapes

Supplied in the clear storage case shown, with its damaged lid edge and corner.

Great for

LED current limiting and pull-up or pull-down resistors
Voltage dividers for Arduino and ESP32 inputs
Breadboard prototyping and circuit repair

Wiring & getting started

  1. Find the value

Each tape has its value printed on it, for example 220R or 3.3K. Off the tape, read the 5-band colour code or check with a multimeter.

  2. Check the power

Each resistor is rated 1/4W. Work out V x I across the resistor and keep it well under 0.25W.

  3. Fit it either way round

Resistors have no polarity. Bend the leads to your breadboard or PCB hole spacing and solder or plug in.

Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to the questions buyers ask most.

Why is this kit on clearance?
Its clear storage case is damaged. The lid edge beside the hinge is stress-whitened and crazed, and one corner is slightly pushed in, as shown in the photos of this exact kit. The resistors inside are new and undamaged.
Is there any warranty on a clearance item?
Yes. The resistors carry the same 12 month warranty as the rest of our range. The case damage shown in the photos is the reason for the discount, so it is not covered as a fault.
What values are in the kit?
30 values, 20 of each: 10, 22, 47, 100, 150, 200, 220, 270, 330, 470, 510 and 680 ohms; 1K, 2K, 2.2K, 3.3K, 4.7K, 5.1K, 6.8K, 10K, 20K, 47K, 51K, 68K, 100K, 220K, 300K, 470K and 680K; and 1M.
What power rating and tolerance are they?
1/4W (0.25W) with ±1% tolerance. Keep the power in each resistor well under 0.25W.
Will they fit a breadboard?
Yes. They are axial through-hole resistors with standard leads, so they plug into a breadboard and suit hand-soldered PCBs and protoboard. They are not for surface-mount work.

Why Buy from NZN

Useful parts, fair prices and someone local to help.

I'm Lukas, an engineering student and maker based in Te Awamutu. NZN grew out of a CNC build that dragged on for months because every missing cable, bolt or electronic part meant another overseas order. I started the shop so Kiwi makers can spend more time building and less time waiting for the next parcel.
