A hardened steel drop-in nozzle for MK8-style hotends, with an M6 thread for 1.75mm filament. MK8 is the classic Creality-style nozzle found on the Ender 3, Ender 5 and CR-10, so this is a direct upgrade that lets those popular machines print abrasive filaments without wearing out. Hardened steel is wear-resistant, standing up to carbon fibre, glow-in-the-dark, wood- and metal-fill filaments that quickly chew through brass, and it handles higher temperatures too. Pick your tip: 0.8mm for balanced faster printing, 1.0mm for high-flow speed, 1.2mm for large-format work, or 1.5mm for extra-wide, maximum-flow printing. Fits straight in, no modifications needed.

  • Hardened steel, wear-resistant with a long service life
  • Classic MK8 fit for Creality and clones
  • Four tip sizes from 0.8mm to 1.5mm
  • Prints abrasive and composite filaments
  • M6 thread, MK8 standard
  • Sized for 1.75mm filament
  • Handles higher temperatures than brass
  • Direct drop-in replacement, no mods needed

Upgrading a stock Ender 3 or CR-10
One nozzle that handles everything

Changing your nozzle

  1. Heat the hotend

Bring it up to around 200 to 230C so any filament in the nozzle is soft.

  2. Hold the heater block

Grip the block with a spanner or pliers so it cannot twist, then unscrew the old nozzle.

  3. Fit the hardened nozzle

Screw the new nozzle in while the hotend is still hot.

  4. Snug it down

Tighten it firmly while hot so it seals against the heatbreak and does not leak.

Common questions

Will this fit my Ender 3 or CR-10?

Yes. Stock Creality machines like the Ender 3, Ender 5 and CR-10 use MK8 nozzles, so this drops straight in with no V6 upgrade needed. It is the direct way to make one of those printers abrasive-ready.

Why choose hardened steel?

Hardened steel resists the abrasion from composite and filled filaments that would wear out a brass nozzle in hours. It is the right choice for carbon fibre, glow-in-the-dark, wood- and metal-fill materials, and it tolerates higher temperatures too.

Can I print everyday PLA and PETG with it?

Yes, it handles all standard filaments fine. Brass just heats a little faster and costs less, so for purely non-abrasive printing brass can be the better value. Choose hardened when you print abrasives or want one nozzle that does everything.

Which tip size should I choose?

0.8mm gives a balanced, faster print with more flow than a standard tip. 1.0mm opens up the flow for fast, high-throughput printing. 1.2mm suits large-format and structural prints with thick layers. 1.5mm is the widest bore for the fastest, heaviest large-scale prints.

What is an MK8 nozzle?

MK8 is the most common nozzle format on hobby 3D printers, with a standard melt zone and an M6 thread. It is the tip fitted to Creality machines like the Ender 3 and CR-10, plus many clones. It is not interchangeable with an E3D V6 or Volcano nozzle.
