The Nano Terminal Adapter is a screw-terminal breakout board for the Arduino Nano (v2.x/v3.x, ATmega328P or ATmega328PB) that mounts onto the Nano's pin rows and re-exposes every pin as a secure, labelled screw terminal, ideal for wiring sensors, relays and permanent installations without jumper leads working loose over time. Choose Soldered for a board that's ready to use out of the box, or Unsoldered if you'd rather solder the terminal blocks and headers on yourself.
- Breaks out all 30 Nano pins to secure screw terminals
- Two 15-way terminal blocks (digital side + analog/power side)
- Dual 15-pin female headers for mounting the Nano itself
- Fits classic Arduino Nano v2.x/v3.x (ATmega328P or ATmega328PB)
- Compact 54.6 x 36.1mm footprint
- Two mounting holes for panel or standoff fitting
- Available Soldered (ready to use) or Unsoldered (DIY kit)
- Every board is checked before it ships
Specifications
What's in the box
Soldered: fully assembled board, terminal blocks and headers pre-soldered, ready to wire up. Unsoldered: the same PCB plus 2x 15-way screw terminal blocks and 2x 15-pin female headers as loose parts, soldering required. Nano module sold separately.
Great for
Getting started
- Check your assembly
Soldered arrives ready to use. Unsoldered needs the two terminal blocks and two headers soldered on first.
- Mount your Nano
Plug your Arduino Nano into the two central header rows, matching the pin labels silkscreened on the board.
- Wire your terminals
Connect sensors, relays or wires to the labelled screw terminals with a small flathead screwdriver.
- Power and go
Power via the Nano's own USB connection, or feed 5V/GND in through the VIN terminal.
Common questions
Does it come with the Arduino Nano?
No, this is the adapter board only, the Nano module is sold separately.
What's the difference between Soldered and Unsoldered?
Soldered arrives fully assembled and ready to wire up. Unsoldered includes the identical PCB plus the two screw terminal blocks and two female headers as loose parts, for you to solder on yourself.
What do I need to assemble the Unsoldered kit?
Just a soldering iron and solder. No special tools are needed to use the screw terminals afterward beyond a small flathead screwdriver.
Does it work with the ATmega328PB Nano, not just ATmega328P?
Yes. The ATmega328PB is a pin-compatible variant that shares the same Nano v3.x footprint and pin layout as the ATmega328P, so it seats in and works with this adapter identically.
Is it compatible with the Nano Every or Nano 33 IoT?
No, this adapter is designed for the classic ATmega328P/328PB-based Nano v2.x/v3.x pinout, not the newer Nano Every or Nano 33 IoT boards.
Good to know: This adapter is designed for the classic Nano v2.x/v3.x (ATmega328P or ATmega328PB) pinout, not the newer Nano Every or Nano 33 IoT. Every board is checked before it ships from our Te Awamutu stock.
