Solder and seal a wire join in one step — no soldering iron, no separate heat-shrink, no electrical tape. Each connector has a low-temperature solder ring in the centre and adhesive-lined heat-shrink at both ends. Slide it over your wires, hit it with a heat gun, and the solder bonds the conductors while the tubing shrinks into a tidy, waterproof joint. Choose your wire size by colour below — sold individually with a 10-piece minimum, and the more you buy, the less you pay per connector.
- Solder + seal + insulate in a single step
- No soldering iron needed — just a heat gun
- Waterproof, dust-proof adhesive-lined seal
- Low-temp solder ring melts at ~138°C
- Clear sleeve lets you see the solder flow
- 5 colour-coded sizes from 26 to 10 AWG

What you'll receive
Sold per piece with a 10-connector minimum — set the exact quantity you need at checkout. Bulk discounts apply automatically at 25, 50 and 100 pieces.
Great for
How to use them
- Strip & overlap
Strip ~8mm off each wire and twist or overlap the bare strands together in the centre.
- Slide the connector on
Centre the solder ring directly over the join so the bare wires sit inside it.
- Apply heat
Play a heat gun evenly around the connector. The solder ring melts and flows into the wires first.
- Seal it
Keep heating until the coloured bands and tubing shrink fully and a little adhesive weeps from the ends — that's your waterproof seal. Let it cool.
Common questions
Do I need a soldering iron?
No. These are designed for a heat gun (around 250–300°C). The built-in solder ring does the joining for you, so you never touch an iron. A lighter or torch can work in a pinch, but a heat gun gives the cleanest, most even result and won't scorch the tubing.
Why is there a 10-piece minimum?
These are small, low-cost parts, so we sell them in a minimum of 10 to keep per-connector pricing low and shipping worthwhile. Mix the quantity to suit your job, and the price per connector drops automatically as you pass 25, 50 and 100 pieces.
Are they really waterproof?
Yes. The heat-shrink tubing is adhesive-lined, so as it shrinks it melts a glue that flows around the wire and seals both ends. That gives a water- and dust-resistant join suitable for automotive, marine, trailer and outdoor use.
Which colour/size do I choose?
Match the colour to your wire gauge: White 24–26 AWG, Red 18–22 AWG, Green 16–18 AWG, Blue 14–16 AWG, Yellow 10–12 AWG. If you're between sizes, pick the one that fits snugly over the stripped, twisted wires — the seal works best with a close fit.
What temperature melts the solder?
The low-temp solder ring flows at roughly 138°C, which is below the temperature needed to fully shrink and seal the tubing. So as you heat, the solder bonds the conductors first and the waterproof seal forms as you finish.
Good to know: Use a proper hot-air heat gun for the best seal and rotate it around the connector so the whole joint heats evenly. Stocked and dispatched fast from our Te Awamutu base — overseas prices, without the overseas wait.
