This ESP32 screw terminal adapter takes a 38-pin ESP32 board and brings all 38 pins out to labelled screw terminals, so sensors, relays and power leads screw down firmly instead of hanging off jumper wires. It fits 38-pin boards whose header rows are 0.9 in (22.9 mm) apart, such as our ESP32 WROOM-32 38-pin board. It does not fit our 30-pin ESP32 board, which has 15 pins a side on 1.0 in rows. The terminal blocks and sockets come soldered on, ready to use.

Great for
Wiring & getting started
- Check your board
Count 19 pins on each side and measure between the two header rows: about 22.9 mm fits the inner sockets.
- Fit it the right way round
Put the 3V3 and GND end of the ESP32 (the antenna end) at the 3V3 / GND end of the adapter, with the USB socket at the 5V / CLK end, then press it straight down.
- Test over USB first
Upload a sketch through the ESP32's own USB socket before wiring anything to the terminals.
- Wire up
Unplug USB, strip about 5 mm of insulation, tighten each wire under its labelled screw, then power up again. Leave SD0 to SD3, CMD and CLK unconnected; they belong to the ESP32's flash memory. If a label on your board differs from the adapter, follow your board's label.
