Plain flat washers in 304 stainless steel, sold individually in M2, M3, M4 and M5. They follow the standard DIN 125-A metric sizes, so each one matches the hex nuts and screws of the same number. Put one under a screw head or nut to spread the load, stop it biting into plastic or a soft PCB, or pack out a gap. Stainless means they can go outdoors or anywhere damp without rusting.

Great for
Choosing the right size
- Match the number to the screw
An M3 screw takes an M3 washer. The hole is a little bigger than the screw so it slides straight on, and the number is the screw size, not the washer's outside diameter.
- Check the space around the hole
The outside diameter runs from 5 mm on the M2 to 10 mm on the M5. On a crowded PCB, make sure the washer clears nearby parts and tracks around the mounting hole.
- One under the head, one under the nut
On soft material such as plastic, wood or a 3D print, use a washer on both sides so neither the screw head nor the nut pulls into the surface.
Note: A flat washer spreads the load but does not stop a nut working loose. On anything that vibrates, add a second nut as a locknut or use a nylon insert lock nut.
