Common Questions
Can this power a Raspberry Pi 4?
Yes — select the 3A variant. The Pi 4 draws up to 1.2–2A under load; the 3A variant provides comfortable headroom, especially if you have a display or USB devices attached.
Will it work from a 12V car battery?
Yes. The input range is 12–24V DC, making it ideal for vehicle, caravan, and marine use. Engine start voltage dips are handled by the wide input range.
Is the IP67 rating genuine — can I mount it outdoors?
Yes. IP67 means it's fully dust-tight and can withstand temporary submersion in water. It's suitable for outdoor enclosures and under-bonnet mounting provided the wire connections themselves are weatherproofed.
