Wiring & getting started

  1. Identify the leads

    Check the receiver PCB markings for V+, V-, NO, COM and NC before connecting. Do not identify the functions by wire colour alone.

  2. Connect a DC supply and load

    Power the receiver from 3.5 to 12 V DC. Wire the low-voltage load through COM and the contact that gives the required off state.

  3. Choose a mode and pair the remote

    Use the learning button to select the output mode, then pair the A/B key fob. See the datasheet for button counts and the clear-code sequence.

Note: Use this wired kit only for low-voltage DC projects. The 1 A figure is a maximum contact rating, not a recommended continuous design load.

What comes with one kit?

What supply does the receiver need?
Use a 3.5 to 12 V DC supply for the receiver. Match the positive and negative leads to the PCB markings before power-up.
Can the two buttons control two separate loads?
No. This kit has one relay. In two-button latched mode, A turns that relay on and B turns it off.
Can I use the wire colours as a pinout?
No. Confirm V+, V-, NO, COM and NC against the receiver PCB markings before wiring; the supplied wire colours alone are not a reliable pinout.
What load can it switch?
The relay contact is rated at 1 A maximum. For normal project design, keep the switched load below 0.7 A and use low-voltage DC only.
