Fully-insulated female bullet connectors — the socket half of a quick-disconnect bullet pair. Strip your wire, slide it into the barrel and crimp, and you have a clean, insulated push-on terminal that mates with a matching male bullet plug. The tough colour-coded PVC sleeve fully covers the crimp for a safe, vibration-proof join you can pull apart and reconnect whenever you need. Ideal for automotive, marine, trailer and 12V wiring. This is the Yellow heavy-gauge size with a 4mm bullet socket — more colours/sizes coming soon.

Great for
How to crimp them
- Strip the wire
Strip roughly 6–8mm of insulation to expose clean, twisted strands.
- Insert into the barrel
Slide the bare wire fully into the connector's metal barrel, up to the insulation sleeve.
- Crimp
Squeeze the insulated barrel with a crimping tool until firm, then tug the wire gently to confirm it's locked in.
- Connect
Push the female bullet onto a matching male bullet. It grips firmly and pulls apart cleanly whenever you need to disconnect.
Common questions
Are these male or female?
These are the female (socket) half — the end you push a matching male bullet connector into. Bullet connectors work as a male + female pair, so pick up the matching 4mm male size to complete a join.
Which colour/size do I choose?
Bullet connectors are colour-coded by wire gauge: Red 16–22 AWG, Blue 14–16 AWG, Yellow 10–12 AWG. This listing is the Yellow heavy-gauge size (4.0–6.0 mm², 4mm bullet). More colours/sizes are coming soon.
Do I need a special tool?
A basic insulated-terminal crimping tool gives the strongest, tidiest result. Combination pliers can work in a pinch, but a proper crimper is far more reliable for a connection that won't pull loose.
Why is there a 10-piece minimum?
These are small, low-cost parts, so we sell them in a minimum of 10 to keep per-connector pricing low and shipping worthwhile. Mix the quantity to suit your job — the price per connector drops automatically as you pass 25, 50 and 100 pieces.
Are they fully insulated?
Yes. The PVC sleeve covers the entire barrel and crimp, so once crimped there's no exposed metal — safer against shorts and vibration in automotive and marine looms.
Good to know: match the connector size to your wire gauge for the best crimp, and pair each female bullet with a matching male to complete the join. Stocked and dispatched fast from our Te Awamutu base — overseas prices, without the overseas wait.
