A brass drop-in nozzle for MK8-style hotends, with an M6 thread for 1.75mm filament. MK8 is the classic Creality-style nozzle found on the Ender 3, Ender 5, CR-10 and many other popular machines, so it drops straight in as a no-fuss replacement for a worn or clogged tip. Brass has the best thermal conductivity of any nozzle material, so it heats fast and prints cleanly on everyday, non-abrasive filaments. Pick your tip: 0.2mm for fine detail, 0.6mm for crisp everyday printing, 0.8mm for faster, stronger prints, or 1.0mm for high-flow, thick-layer work. Fits straight in, no modifications needed.

  • Brass, best thermal conductivity and fast heating
  • Classic MK8 fit for Creality and clones
  • Four tip sizes from 0.2mm to 1.0mm
  • Direct drop-in replacement, no mods needed
  • M6 thread, MK8 standard
  • Sized for 1.75mm filament
  • Ideal for PLA, PETG, ABS and TPU
  • Great value for regular nozzle swaps

Changing your nozzle

  1. Heat the hotend

Bring it up to around 200 to 230C so any filament in the nozzle is soft.

  2. Hold the heater block

Grip the block with a spanner or pliers so it cannot twist, then unscrew the old nozzle.

  3. Fit the MK8 nozzle

Screw the new nozzle in while the hotend is still hot.

  4. Snug it down

Tighten it firmly while hot so it seals against the heatbreak and does not leak.

Common questions

What is an MK8 nozzle?

MK8 is the most common nozzle format on hobby 3D printers. It has a standard melt zone and an M6 thread, and it is the tip fitted to Creality machines like the Ender 3 and CR-10, plus many clones. If your printer came with a Creality-style hotend, an MK8 nozzle is almost certainly what it uses.

Will this fit my printer?

It fits any printer that uses an MK8 nozzle, including the Creality Ender 3 / 5 and CR-10 series, Anet A8, Wanhao and most MK7/MK8 hotends. It is not interchangeable with an E3D V6 or Volcano nozzle, which use different lengths and formats.

Which tip size should I choose?

0.2mm is the finest tip for high detail. 0.6mm is a great everyday size with a good balance of speed and quality. 0.8mm steps up flow for faster, stronger prints. 1.0mm has the widest bore for high-flow, large-format and structural printing with thick layers.

Why choose brass?

Brass has the best thermal conductivity of the common nozzle materials, so it heats quickly and transfers heat efficiently. It is the ideal, best-value choice for everyday non-abrasive filaments like PLA, PETG, ABS and TPU.

Can I print abrasive filaments with it?

Not recommended. Brass wears quickly with abrasive filaments (carbon fibre, glow-in-the-dark, metal- or wood-fill), so for those use a hardened steel MK8 nozzle instead.
