Pre-Wired 3mm Water Clear LED

Ready-to-wire 3mm flat top water clear LEDs with approximately 200mm leads and built-in driver circuitry that runs on any DC supply from 3V to 24V. No maths, no separate resistor, just connect the leads to your supply and go. The 3mm size is ideal for tight spaces, fine detail work and compact panels. This range also includes UV and colour-changing RGB (slow and fast) options.

Specifications

  • LED diameter: 3mm
  • Lens: water clear, flat top
  • Light type: constant colours plus RGB slow/fast auto-changing variants
  • Operating voltage: 3V to 24V DC (driver built into the lead, no resistor needed)
  • Lead / cable length: approx. 200mm
  • Brightness: approx. 6000-8000 mcd
  • Viewing angle: 120-140 degrees
  • Rated life: up to 100,000 hours

Wiring

Connect the longer lead to positive (+) and the shorter lead to negative (-). The built-in driver handles anything from 3V up to 24V DC, so the same LED works on a coin cell, a 5V USB rail, a 12V battery or a 24V supply.

Colours available

Red, Green, Blue, Yellow, Orange, Pink, UV, Warm White, White, RGB Slow and RGB Fast. Choose your colour and pack size from the options above.

What's included

Your selected quantity of pre-wired 3mm LEDs, supplied new in foil packaging.

Common uses

Model railways and dioramas, scale models, RC and drones, dashboard and panel indicators, cosplay and props, displays, and general hobby and prototyping work. RGB variants are great for eye-catching effects and signage.

FAQs

What voltage do these need? Any DC supply from 3V up to 24V. The driver is built into the lead.
What is the difference between RGB Slow and RGB Fast? Both cycle through colours automatically; slow fades gently between colours while fast changes more rapidly.
Do I need a resistor? No, it is already built in.
