Common Questions

What does B taper (linear) mean?
B taper means the resistance changes at a constant, even rate across the full 300° sweep. This is ideal for general-purpose control, test equipment, and signal circuits where a predictable, linear response is needed. If you need finer control at lower levels for audio volume, an A (audio/log) taper pot is a better choice.
15mm vs 20mm shaft — which should I choose?
The 15mm shaft suits lower-profile panel builds or applications where the knob sits closer to the panel surface. The 20mm shaft gives more clearance and works better with deeper enclosures or taller knobs. Both have the same 6mm knurled diameter and are electrically identical.

Please note: Knob sold separately. Shaft diameter is 6mm — compatible with most standard push-fit and set-screw knobs.
