Common Questions
How do I install the cartridge safely?
Slide the cartridge fully into the heater block slot, then tighten the grub screw gently — firm enough to hold it in place, but not so tight as to crush the stainless body. Route the cable away from the heater block using a cable guide or clip. Always perform a PID autotune after installing a new cartridge.
Does this come with a thermistor?
No — the thermistor is sold separately. This cartridge is compatible with the HT-NTC100K thermistor. Your existing thermistor can often be reused when replacing just the heater cartridge.
40W or 50W — which should I choose?
For most printers running PLA, PETG, and ABS, the 40W is sufficient. Choose 50W if you print high-temp filaments like PA (Nylon), PC, or ASA, or if you want faster heat-up times. Both use the same 6×20mm form factor and are direct drop-in replacements.
Please note: Thermistor sold separately. Select your required wattage (40W or 50W) from the variant selector before adding to cart.
