Three wires, one connector, about five seconds of work. Flip the levers up, push each stripped wire in, snap them shut and the joint is done - no twisting, no wire nuts, no tools. These are the real WAGO 221-413s, the same connector sparkies use in downlight cans and junction boxes every day. They'll take solid, stranded or fine-stranded wire from 0.2-4mm², handle 32A at 450V, and you can pop them open and rewire them as many times as you like. The clear housing means you can actually see the copper is seated where it should be. Sold as singles, so grab the number the job needs.

  • Real WAGO 221 series (221-413, 3-conductor)

Got questions?

Frequently asked questions

Are these genuine WAGO?
Yes. These are genuine WAGO 221-413 COMPACT splicing connectors from WAGO Kontakttechnik (Minden, Germany), not a lookalike. WAGO lists the 221-413 as a 3-conductor splicing connector with operating levers, suitable for all conductor types up to 4 mm², with a transparent housing and a T85 temperature rating. The levers are stamped WAGO 221 and the housing carries the PSE / JET 20A 300V approval markings.
How many wires does it join?
Up to three. Each port has its own lever, so you can join two or three conductors in one connector, and you can mix wire types and sizes across the ports.
Can I reuse them?
Yes. Lift a lever to release a wire and re-clamp it as often as you like, which makes them handy for testing and temporary joins.
What wire can they take?
Solid and stranded from 0.2-4mm² (roughly 24-12 AWG), and fine-stranded from 0.14mm², with or without a ferrule. Different wire types and sizes can share the same connector.
Are they safe for mains wiring?
They are rated 32A at 450V (IEC) for solid and stranded conductors and the housing carries PSE / JET 20A 300V markings. Mains work still needs to follow NZ wiring rules and be done or checked by a registered electrician.

Why buy from NZN

International prices. None of the international wait.

We're a small Kiwi-owned shop, and we stock the same boards and parts you'd usually order from overseas, for about the same price. The only real difference is they ship from Te Awamutu, so you get them in a few days instead of waiting weeks.

Run by Kiwis, here in Te Awamutu

We're NZ owned and operated, and every order is picked, packed and sent from our place in Te Awamutu, Waikato.

Get it in days, not weeks

Order before 8am and it ships the same day, otherwise within 24 hours guaranteed. No waiting three to six weeks for a parcel to crawl over from overseas.

Low prices are the goal

As a maker myself, I want New Zealand to have a genuine low-price local option for electronics, not overpriced shelves or a long wait on an international parcel.

Checked, and easy to sort if it's not right

We test things before they go out, and if something's off you've got 30 day returns, a 12 month warranty and a real person in NZ to email.

Packed and sent by a fellow maker, right here in Te Awamutu.
