What does B taper (linear) mean?
B taper means the resistance changes at a constant, even rate across the full 300° sweep. This is ideal for general-purpose control, test equipment, and signal circuits where a predictable, linear response is needed. If you need finer control at lower levels for audio volume, an A (audio/log) taper pot is a better choice.
Will standard knobs fit the 20mm shaft?
Yes — the knurled 6mm shaft is compatible with most standard push-fit and set-screw potentiometer knobs. The knurling helps push-fit knobs grip securely without slipping.
